Each day, we collect vast amounts of information through our services, websites, mobile application and other forms of interactive features owned by TutorOpedia, this data also regulates and solves disputes, pursue legitimate business activities, and make lawful decisions. We take all the necessary legal steps to ensure that your information is stored, treated, and kept secured in conformity with this privacy policy.

When you create a user account and/or profile, TutorOpedia collects useful information such as your username, password, name, email address, contact number, and geographic related details. You may also be required to provide similar details when you wish to enquire about our services or your order.

We acknowledge your concern regarding your privacy while using our services. TutorOpedia has described the privacy policy to ensure the safety of your personal information. Other notable points are as follows:

• All user information is kept confidential within the company. These details are not disclosed to any third parties.
• Your personal information is used primarily for communication regarding your online classes booked with us and to keep you updated with the latest developments in the scope of our service. All other purposes have been listed in the previous section.
• We do not share your details with the experts (tutors) and vice versa. It is to ensure that privacy of clients as well as experts remains confidential. We can get you connected with an expert to enable clarifications regarding your order but we will not allow an exchange of contact details between any parties.
• The tutoring solutions provided to you are not used for any other purpose and shall be stored on our database for a minimum period of three months.
• Payment information related to debit/credit cards while making any transactions on our services is kept confidential. We ensure 100% compliance with legal obligations and use payment gateways that are bona fide and verified by, as per the statutory laws that govern internet payments. When you make an online payment to purchase our services, we do not have access to any of your bank or card related information that you input while processing the payment.
• In case of any conflicts/claims regarding the order, we might have to communicate the details to our payment partners for resolving the issue. It doesn’t amount to a breach of your privacy as it is a legal procedure which must be followed in case of any disagreement over the service provided.
• While purchasing our services, you will be deemed to understand and agree to our privacy policy.

All the user information is kept private and confidential within the digital premise of the company. We use it only for a variety of business purposes which help us analyse and improve the services to our legitimate interests. This includes but is not limited to:

• Information and profile management.
• Communicating with you about the discounts, offers, and coupons on our services.
• Processing your payment and financial information when you purchase one or more services.
• Providing updates on your account, our services, and changes in the company’s policies.
• Inviting you to register for events and seminars.
• Enhancing an existing or for developing a new service.
• Maximizing the desired quality output of the internal teams.

Our privacy policy is revised periodically at our sole discretion and we are not liable to update you with regular updates. We advise you to visit this page often for any updates on our policies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All Cancellation requests will be processed and resolved by us as per the below-given terms and conditions:

(2.1) All users/customers can raise your cancellation request to a maximum of 24 hours after placing your order. Beyond which no cancellation request will be entertained. Kindly note to send us your cancellation requests at help@tutoropedia.com from your registered email id.

(2.2) In case your booked time slot is within 72 hours of placing your order, such orders are classified as urgent sessions and we don’t entertain cancellation requests for the same. The tutors are immediately assigned and paid upfront for such orders. However, you can contact customer support to reschedule your online class.

(2.4) If you raise your cancellation request after 180 minutes (3hours) and up to a maximum of 24 hours of placing your order, we will process the cancellation request with a deduction of 15% of your order value. The due deductions are levied against the operational costs and expert fees.

(2.5) No Cancellation requests will be entertained once 24 hours have passed after placing the order.

Refund Policy

We will promptly resolve all refund requests as per the given terms and conditions

3.1 – Duplicate/Multiple Payment Made

In case you have paid more than once for a same order, we request you to send us the transaction details of both pay outs at help@tutoropedia.com. Our customer support team will evaluate the case and if duplicate payment has been received by us, we will refund the same within 2-3 business days of the refund approval.

3.2 – Unavailability of Tutor

A scenario such as this is highly unlikely. Even if such a case occurs where the expert is not available to help you at your booked time slot, you will have the option to reschedule your class or request for a full refund of the amount paid by you. Kindly note that once your refund request is approved, it may take 3-4 business days to process the transfer.

3.3 – Service Quality related Grievances

Online Tutoring is a subjective service and our experts try to help you with the best of their knowledge, efforts and references so you can effectively comprehend the learning outcomes of your study material. However, to achieve good grades your diligence is the most important factor.

In case you are not satisfied with the service/guidance provided by the tutor, please mail us your concerns in detail at help@tutoropedia.com. Such cases, where the services/online class / session has been completed will not be entertained for refunds or cancellations. The Customer Service team may reject your request or resolve it with an additional session; if your concerns are found to be genuine but in any case the management decision will be final in such case scenarios.

Important Note:

Online Tutoring and Academic Research Assistance is a subjective service and our experts try to help you with the best of their knowledge, efforts and references, so you can effectively comprehend the learning outcomes of your study material. However, to achieve good grades your diligence is the most important factor.

SERVICE DELIVERY AGREEMENT

4.1 Once you have booked and paid for a tuition slot, we will facilitate your session on Zoom / Google Meet / Skype Video or any other video conferencing applications. You will be provided with a user id and password to login to the application and attend tuition session at your booked time slot.

4.2 The sessions between users and tutors are recorded and kept in our database up to 3 months of using the service. The recorded session and the invoice given by us will stand as the final proof of delivery of our services. We are not liable to process or entertain any refund request if you have completed the tuition session. All chargeback requests after the tutor session has been completed will be considered as malafide requests and will NOT be entertained for Refund or Reschedule requests.

4.3 On completion of your session, we send users a feedback form to which they are mandated to fill and submit. Our service delivery agreement is restricted to our tutors diligently providing the academic sessions during your booked slot with an additional doubt clearance session of only 15 minutes for every hour of online tuition session booked by a user. We are fully committed to provide our users with the best education services. In case of any concerns regarding the quality of the mentoring received by you, kindly email your concerns in detail at help@tutoropedia.com or through the feedback form sent on your registered email id.

Important Note:

Users can reschedule their online tuition session by informing us at least 24 hours prior to their booked time slot. The request to reschedule your session must be sent on help@tutoropedia.com from your registered email id. In case, due to any unforeseen circumstances you are unable to attend your class and not able to inform us, we will promptly reschedule the same as per the next convenient availability of your chosen tutor. However, such requests will NOT be entertained as refund requests.

It is our moral imperative to facilitate learning through ethical means and we have zero tolerance to misuse of our material.
