World Sleep Day is an annual event celebrated all over the world that calls to action important issues related to sleep using mutual efforts energized by sleep professionals all over the globe. The focus of this day is to bring attention to the many burdens of sleep problems, as well as the significance of healthy sleep. World Sleep Day publicly exhibits efforts being taken towards prevention and management of sleep disorders.
WSD is directed by committee member Liborio Parrino(MD), Associate Professor of Neurology at Parma University, Italy; with support from World Sleep Society’s staff and the whole committee.
